Set Review: Witch - 40032

Sorry I posted this set review after Halloween, but I lost one of the pieces a couple months ago and finally just found it again.

Set Name/Number
Witch (Set #40032)

Number of Pieces
71

Type of Instruction Book
One 8" x 16.5" page folded eight times; 18 steps. Main model only, no alternate models.

Price
$4.99

Set Description
A large witch's head, about 3.25" x 3.25" x 4.25"; much larger than minifig scale. Good for decoration of a mantle or desk. Would go well with other Halloween decorations. Good for display.

Notes
This model is one of the best polybag sets I've seen. It is surprisingly large for its bag and its price. I had a good time building it, and it was fairly easy to build. I liked how the hat fit into the head, and could be removed easily and without any studs holding it down. It looks great with a light brick inside (see picture).

Rating
I give this one an 8 out of 10!

Lego Poké Ball

Before this is posted on MOCpages, I'd like to put it on here. This is a classic Poké Ball using the Lowell Sphere design. Sorry purists, I colored the button, but there is no really good piece for that that has been produced by Lego®. I am hoping to make a Pokémon to go in it, but I am not sure which I will make.

First Post!!!

Hi everyone, this is my first blog, so I'll put my favorite Lego book up for everyone to see. It's called The Unofficial Lego Builder's Guide. It shows basic building techniques, among other information.
